My Friend Penny is a pioneering insurance startup based in Canada, focused on providing short-term income interruption insurance specifically tailored for women experiencing women-related health issues. Our goal is to offer a safety net for women, ensuring they have financial support during times of medical leave for conditions such as PCOS or ovarian cysts, procedures and surgeries such as a hysterectomy, pregnancy complications like pre-eclampsia and more. By doing so, we aim to fill a critical gap in the insurance market, providing women peace of mind and financial stability during challenging times.
